English 1010. Why Did I Sign Up For This Class?

So today in english we had to do a group quiz about the book we are reading. I was in the group with all of the smart people, or as i would call them, "know-it-alls". Anyway we chose a scribe and we started the quiz. Little did I know that our scribe would be the slowest writer in the world! She would read the question to us then we would all give input, but she didn't write it all down until we were all done talking! The job of the scribe is to write down things AS we say them! So this took a lot longer than it needed to! Then whenever she has something to say she would stop writing and say it. Don't get me wrong, I wanted to hear her opinion, I just didn't want it to take forever for us to finish this simple worksheet! So we are still working on it and the teacher asks who wasn't done, and guess which group was the only ones who raised their hands? If you guessed my group, you are so right!! We finally finished though. I never thought I would see the day! Sorry I shouldn't be so judgmental, I am just not a patient person! It's not in my DNA.

New Year, New School.

Well it's my senior year. I can't believe it is here, time has gone by so fast! So i'm spending my last year of high school at Salem Hills. It is very different from PG in so many ways, but here are a few.. First of all, the desks don't have everyones brothers, friends, second cousins names carved in them! The bathrooms smell like they have been cleaned in the past year or so, unlike PG! All of the chairs are matching! At good old Pleastant Grove, you could be sitting in a yellow chair or a blue chair, it just depended on the class room! Although I love Salem, i'm still going to miss PG and all of the memories..

I like golf..

Today I went golfing with my brother and his friend. You might be wondering right now, was it fun? Well, yes it was fun! Except for one little part. Let me tell you about it. So we're on the 8th hole right? right. We're on the green, so we are almost done with the hole. The all of the sudden we hear someone yell,"Let's go!!". HA!! When I heard that i just thought to myself, wow did i really just hear that? Yup I did. (And let me just tell you one last detail, there was three of us and we were walking. but the people playing behind us had a cart, and there was only two of them) So anyway, I was so mad! Really, who yells on the golf course first of all! Secondly, can you be patient for ten minutes of your life? I guess not. So as we leave the hole I just glare at the man who yelled and he stops in the middle of his swing and glares back! Some people these days... Have some consideration please, thanks!!!!!!!!!!! :)

This one time I almost got kicked out of the mall.

So the other day, we're at the mall, and in this mall there was a little train that drove around giving little kids rides. Being the idiot I am, I decided it would be funny to jump in front of the train and act like i was about to get hit! So I jump in front of it and the girl driving it honks her horn at me, and then as she drives away she says to me,"If you do that one more time I'll call security!". HA! You're kidding me right?! You'll call security?? SPARE ME! It's not like I actually stepped in front of a REAL train. I could walk faster than that train.

I wish I could stop time.

Time is moving way too fast.

School is just around the corner.

This means not alot of time for a best friend of mine.

Sad.

Well you know those days where no one wants to talk to you so you just sit around all day doing nothing? Yup, today is one of those days! and sometimes I get really depressed during these days. dang. So on these kinds of days I sit on my butt and watch spongebob all day! Oh and I also watch repeat episodes of hannah montana. It's not weird at all..(it really is) I even find myself laughing at these shows! What a great way to spend my time huh?? Ya I know.

Oh Carnivals..

So this week I went to the Spanish Fork carnival. It was quite an experience, let me tell ya. The whole time I was just a little creeped! There was one man who worked there and had pretty much all of his front teeth missing. Who wouldn't be creeped out by that? Then there was a lady in front of in line and she seriously looked like she was about to pass out. Don't know what she was on, and don't really want to know either. You only find these types of people at carnivals, that's just how it goes. So anyways, we wait in line for an eternity just to ride the most unstable ride ever! And it looks like this...

The whole time we were in line I just felt like we were waiting in line to die. It just looks dangerous! period. but i survived, don't worry! The second ride we went on was torture. It was called the tornado. Just from the name you know it's not going to be good! The funny thing was, there was piles of puke surrounding the ride.. not a good sign. So we get on and spin for about 5 minutes at the least. Half way through the ride I started to feel nausious, and so did everyone else around me! It was like something out of a movie, you just never think things like that will ever happen to you! but i does. I got off and only gagged twice, but I didn't throw up! Let's just say I hate Carnivals.
